Do Horses wear rollerskates?

Travel

What excites us to travel?

It seems to be the common goal of many. We are eager to learn about how people live that don’t live like us.

We are excited to see the similarities.

We are excited to see the differences.

Travel can teach us how others conduct their daily lives.

It can teach us where different foods come from.

It can teach us how different currencies work.

It can teach us how different cultures live their lives.

It can show us what things are important to our fellow human being.

It can show us what others definition of happiness can be.

It can show us that a simple smile can carry us through the day as we can all have this in common.

We have come across something very important in our travels. This something is what we have thought all along.

It is your feet.

Yes, your feet! We have seen on our travels how people are using their feet.

Our Feet have only one less joint than the hand. There are twenty-six bones in the foot and twenty-seven in the hand.

As we travel we see that many really appreciate those bones and joints and don’t lock them up. We don’t lock up our hand joints. We use our hands to grasp, pinch and manipulate small objects as well as perform our Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). Our feet are weight bearing so it is important to let them do what they were designed to do and that is to support our body and function for activities of life.

Our body is constantly surveilling our motion and it appreciates the normal movement that can occur if allowed in the foot. We love barefooting in the home, or even store, as allowed in many countries.
